Dance Fusion Works

Dance Fusion Works is a dance company that has come to my school and a few kids signed up for it and we all go to the Black Box at Public and Dance for two hours. The dance is a symbolism about emigrating from their home place and traveling to america with the burdens of leaving family and friends. We practice every Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 - 12:30.

Those words listed above ^ are all STDs and STIs and pregnacy. You are all wondering why I have these up well the answer to your questions is “Teen Talk”, Teen Talk is a place where teens go and talk about safe sex and how to prevent the worse case scenarios. Planned Parenthood is where it all started. They set up this meeting thing for kids and at the end of it all they give out free condoms, lube, pan flits, and brochures about being safe during sex and how to stay safe from STDs, STIs, and Pregnancy.

RISE

There are OnLy forty children in the United States of America who have parents incarcerated (in jail). With a few available services that can help them better themselves and keep themselves on the right path. RISE (Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education) is one of them. They make fundraisers and organize a whole bunch of things to help these kids from falling into their parent’s footsteps. Believe it or not but RISE was one of the first organizing program to serve children of prisoners in the US of A. 

RISE has set up things such; as scholarships for children of prisoners to help them know and look forward to their futures, mentoring to the kids to break a certain cycle to keep them off the streets doing drugs - selling drugs - committing crimes and drinking. RISE has empowered children and their parents for over 15 years. They have recruited mentors and sustained them as well. They have enthralled many sponsors and donors with their organizations, fundraisers, donations, etc.
